A self-trained muralist and graphic artist, James created beautiful things in the Metro Detroit area for 25 years. An accomplished airbrush artist, he is also highly skilled with traditional artists brushes.

Labadie murals have adorned all manner of interior and exterior surfaces, from bathroom walls to storefronts, from garage floors to gymnasium ceilings.

Subject matter is no issue, either. From abstracts to portraits, James can paint just about anything.

Beautiful things.
The Table Tavern in Sterling Heights Michigan was an awesome concept. Unfortunately, it didn't work out in practice and the business was closed after just a few short months in 1993.
The main floor was a bar and restaurant, with a billiards room for adults. Upstairs was basically a day care, so parents and kids could each have their own fun in the same building. The hallway and stairwell were given a fairy tale kind of treatment. The kids room was painted more like a jungle or a zoo, with all sorts of exotic animals and lush foliage.
