A self-trained muralist and graphic artist, James created beautiful things in the Metro Detroit area for 25 years. An accomplished airbrush artist, he is also highly skilled with traditional artists brushes.

Labadie murals have adorned all manner of interior and exterior surfaces, from bathroom walls to storefronts, from garage floors to gymnasium ceilings.

Subject matter is no issue, either. From abstracts to portraits, James can paint just about anything.

Star Theatres construction...

Star Theatres at Great Lakes Crossing

 Beautiful things.
 Star Theatres in Great Lakes Crossing was scheduled to be under construction until well after the mall's grand opening, and the massive walls built as construction barriers inside the mall needed some decoration. James came up with the concept to mimic an exterior downtown type construction barrier. The look of randomly painted plywood with assorted signage and some sort-of portholes for viewing the work in progress.
 A team of helpers assisted with the background and some of the imagery.
