is now in Dallas!
A self-trained muralist and graphic artist, James created beautiful things in the Metro Detroit area for 25 years. An accomplished airbrush artist, he is also highly skilled with traditional artists brushes.

Labadie murals have adorned all manner of interior and exterior surfaces, from bathroom walls to storefronts, from garage floors to gymnasium ceilings.

Subject matter is no issue, either. From abstracts to portraits, James can paint just about anything (with inspiration).

Grace Centers of Hope...

Beautiful things.
Enchanted Makeovers was doing a project at the Grace Centers of Hope shelter in Pontiac Michigan near the end of 2008. James was invited to participate in the makeover by painting a few door murals. Bedroom doors were to look like ornate screen doors. This was his introduction to Enchanted Makeovers. Other door murals and wall murals were done by other artists, including Martin Laprise. After the doors were done, artists painted faux headboards for some of the beds. One by James is shown below.
